Perimetric Protection (Fences)

Historically an exterior gate or wall does not constitute efficient protection against intrusion. It only acts as a deterrent.
It is therefore essential to be alerted when an enclosure is under attack.

Several solutions exist, but are often affected by disturbances caused by animals or by environmental climatic conditions.
The Remsdaq system has been developed around a particularly reliable concept: optic fibre.

Take, for example the links of a fence protecting a private electronics company. Fibre optics could detect all acts of aggression against the fence, be it from the use of cutting pliers or tentative scaling.

This same optic fibre, set in a network of barbs, allows the detector to send an alarm in a manner that is much more reliable than a classical electric system that could easily be suppressed.

This technology could equally be employed :

  • Set in the wall of a safe, high security cell, etc.
  • integrated in the underground grills protecting the pipes of military bases, nuclear centres or high risk industries.
  • sunk in the ground to detect the approach of a protected enclosure.
